Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said land belonging to tribal people would not be snatched in any condition.
Speaking at a public Programme in purulia district, Mamata Banerjee referred to the laws enacted by her government and said, “no one can snatch tribal people land in any Way . The tribal land can not be also transferred”.
In an association with her party head, the Trinamool congress supremo also warned Them against depriving tribal of there rights and said that she should not tolerate any kind of brutality on people.
” You must stay with people. they help us win election. You should provide service to them, if you do not provide them service they will throw us away. If u want To join another political party you are free to join, but if you are determined to stay in my party, then you have to provide service to the people,” Mamata Banerjee told TMC leader and worker.
Since from starting of the month Sandeshkhali has been witnessing protect by the tribal people for forcefully grabbing there land and sexually harassing women . So far the three TMC leaders of Sandeshkhali Uttam Sardar, Shibaprasad Hazra, and Ajit Maity have been taken into custody.
