Four youngsters plead guilty to an Illinois Girl’s Murder-For-Hire that killed her mother and injured her father. The convicted have been sentenced to prison for their roles as teenagers in the case. This incident took place in October 2021. 15-Year Old Dahlia Bolin gained the support and acceptance of three other accused to kill her father as she was having arguments with him. Later, she decided to kill her mother as well. The specific cause behind her willingness to murder her parents has not been disclosed in the court-hearings.
All the information was retrieved from electronic gadgets. Allegedly, the young-girl agreed to give $100,000 each to her alliances and provide them with guns. She was going to retrieve the amount from her parent’s life insurance. The weapons used in the attack were owned by Dahlia’s Father, Douglas Bolin. The teenagers involved in the case besides Dahlia have been identified as 21-Year Old Sage N Raeuber and 20-Year Old Nathaniel L. Maloney of Morton, and 19-Year Old Andre T. Street of Groveland. Nathaniel and Andre carried out the murder while Sage waited for them in a ‘getaway car’. Dahlia intended to cover up the case by claiming it to be a robbery.
The Tazewell County State’s Attorney stated that the defenders pleaded guilty to their charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy. Dahlia pleaded guilty to solicitation of first-degree murder for hire. The conspirator was initially charged as a juvenile. As her case has been moved to the Adult Court now, she has been sentenced to 60-Years in Prison. Until she turns 18 Years Of Age in May, she will be held in Juvenile Corrections. Sage has been sentenced to 30 Years in Prison, Nathaniel has been sentenced to 66 Years and Andre has been sentenced to 55 Years.
What could have been the possible reason and cause for a teenager to want their parents dead? Was there something going on in the household that no one is aware of? Did her parent’s protectiveness make her feel suffocated or was it a case of being scolded to study? Such a psychotic act of violence performed by Dahlia against her parents that gave birth to her is shocking. Does she repent what she did? Or is she satisfied with what happened despite the repurcussions?.
