IIM Sambalpur has partnered with IG Drones, a drone technology and analytics company, to advance drone technology applications in business, management, and public policy. This collaboration was initiated at the 100-Cube Start-up Conclave at IIM Sambalpur, supported by the Ministry of Education. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was present at the event. Under the agreement, IG Drones will establish a drone research and innovation center at IIM Sambalpur’s Delhi campus. This center will foster research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the field of drone technology.
The agreement will explore how drones can enhance Business Analytics, Management Strategies, and Public Policy. IG Drones has opened over 15 drone research centers across India and plans to open 1000 more to provide young Indians with cutting-edge drone technology. The company has partnered with numerous state governments, over 100 government agencies (PSUs), and prominent multinational corporations (MNCs) to provide a wide range of drone services.
Dr. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with IG Drones, an industry leader in drone technology. The partnership aims to explore innovative uses of drones in business analysis, management strategies, and public policy governance.
