According to the notice, Laforestta Cafe is directed to provide a detailed list of the food items served on the day of the incident. The eatery is asked to clarify the circumstances leading to the dry ice mix-up. Serious negligence in maintaining food safety standards is suggested in the notice, and the establishment is urged to respond within 15 days.
On March 6, officials revealed that the notice also serves as a warning to Laforestta Cafe, indicating that its license could face suspension or cancellation. A case under Sections 328 and 120B has been registered against the staff and the restaurant owner, with the restaurant manager already in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
