A McDonald’s Employee spoke out against the ill-treatment by her subordinates to her husband, Dwayne Waden. According to the Police Report, 57-year old Pastor went to her place of work and allegedly shoved a cook’s head towards the deep fryer and smashed his face. The victim suffered from “a large contusion to the forehead and right eye, along with scratches on his neck”. The only reason the victim escaped a worse injury is because the other employees managed to pull Dwayne off of him.
The police officers gained access to the surveillance footage and observed the disagreement. The accused is a Pastor of Elevated Life International Ministries and a Semi-Truck Driver. Dwayne was arrested on the basis of assault according to a Police Report and has been released on a $1000 bond. The Local-North Carolina McDonald’s Franchise has since confirmed that the trainee-manager, wife of Dwayne Waden is no longer working for McDonalds.
Of all the people in the world that could be expected to behave aggressively and physically abuse another individual, a church-pastor is the last. We have an image of Pastors to be calm and composed, having the ability to control their emotions and take the right decision as they guide other people yet everything isn’t always what we perceive it to be. The trauma and pain inflicted on the victim is unimaginable. If the trainee-manager would have used her authority wisely and communicated with the employees effectively, she would have still had her job. The safety and security of every person is essential and we should realise the responsibility and regulations we hold and shall follow.
