On Friday a nightmarish incident occurred in Noida’s India Golf Course development area, when an elevator dropped from the 8th floor of the River Side Tower building. It unravelled that 9 people from the elevator had been injured, and indeed seriously. The victims were people working in the various companies located within this building. Because of their serious condition, they were immediately sent for treatment to private hospitals.
The Scene Unfolds
Thus the news of this incident spread and a crowd swarmed to have a look. Police officers of the Sector 126 police station hurried to take a look at the scene. All were employees located in various companies that are based an the tower. They were injured during a busy evening hour as they commended home from work.
The Victims
They comprise Piyush (22), Abhishek (also 23) and his father, Gupta who lived in the area of Greater Noida. Saurabh Katiyar from nearby Majnipur also hailed from Great-er Noidwide Rajat Sharma was back in hosts coming down off their tails to save themselves more Police confirm that all victims are now out of danger.
Investigation Underway
Police have pieced together a preliminary version of the incident’s history. So that’s when the question of appropriate action will be decided after inquiry is finished. The incident in Sector 125 also recalls the accident at Noida’s Yatharth Hospital (in sector 110), where a lift malfunction injured four members of staff on November 2.

While Greater Noida, which includes Noida South and the entirety of nearby Greater Lalcoopura Industrial Area in this poor example-has been a lift accident zone for several months now, it is too easy to forget. To prevent these things from happening again, authorities are asked to solve them as soon as possible.
