During winter, everyone avoids opening the doors and windows because of the cold and wears more than two clothes. The smell itself remains in the room and even in clothes. It means the particles will remain in all these objects which will affect the second person also. Smoking outside also like the particles remains in the atmosphere longer than usual because the air is denser.
