After skipping the 8th summons by CM Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday for the first time he physically appears before the court in case related to excise policy case.
Previously he appeared before the court via video conferencing, Delhi administration had heightened the security out side the court for Arvind Kejriwal arrival at the court. The enforcement directorate has filed two complain against the Arvind Kejriwal for ignoring their summons to join the probe in Delhi excise policy case.
the agency wants to record Arvind Kejriwal’s statements on topics like the formulation of policy. However, Arvind Kejriwal has been skipping the summons, saying that this summons are illegal and politically motivated. On Friday , the court had issued an order to stay on summons orders send by the ED to Arvind Kejriwal . After which on Saturday he appear before Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court which later granted him bail .
On Thursday in a session court , Arvind Kejriwal claimed that his intension were not to disobey and he always explained the reason , which has not found false by the agency .
Earlier, Kejriwal appeared before the court virtually . After which Last Week the additional chief metropolitan magistrate look after the ED second complain and issued a fresh summons to the Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his personal appearance before the court on march 16 .
