Section 302 of the IPC has lodged against a man who is accused of killing his live-in partner and hiding the dead body in almirah, but the accused is fugitive.
Another tragic incident took place against a woman when the body of a 26-year-old woman was found in a closet in the Dwarka area of the national capital. The police stated that the father of the victim suspected her live-in partner as the main culprit behind the murder. On Wednesday, the incident grabbed attention when the victim’s father approached the police, saying that he was unable to contact his daughter for a few days.
The Dabri police stated that they arrived at a house in Dwarka’s Rajapuri area following the information received at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, where they informed them that his daughter had been killed. A senior police officer stated that, upon entering the flat, the body of the woman was found in the almirah of a room. The crime scene was inspected by the crime team and FSL.
The police stated that the victim’s father was present at the spot when the woman’s body was found and that she was killed by her live-in partner, Vipal Tailor. His last call was cited with the victim woman. Getting the information, the police stated that she had told him that her partner, Vipal Tailor, used to beat her up regularly, and she was very afraid that she could be murdered by him. He also informed the police that his daughter had been living in the rented flat with Tailor for the past one and a half months. The police officer said that the body had been transferred to the DDU Hospital mortuary for an autopsy.
A police officer stated that efforts are underway to locate the accused, Vipal Tailor, who is a resident of Surat in Gujarat. He also added that, based on the statement of the complainant, a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused, and the police teams are also scanning CCTV cameras in the area to find out the crime scene.
