"Chandana, torn between her father's influence and newfound independence, embarks on a journey to make choices that define her own happiness."~CS
“Dad’s little princess – every girl holds that special place in her father’s heart. She grants him her first and foremost priority over others. A girl’s pain is easily forgotten in the embrace of her father’s love. He is the one who deeply cares for his daughter, willing to sacrifice everything for her happiness.”
Now, I would like to share a short story with all of you.
Bhavya, with a frustrated facial expression, says, “Chandana, don’t waste my time. Select the saree as soon as possible; we need to visit other places also. For 5 hours, you have been selecting the saree. But till now, you haven’t chosen any saree. Make it asap.” Chandana sees the saree and thinks. Suddenly, she stands up and says, “I’m not interested in selecting the saree. We can leave now. Brother, sorry for wasting your time.”
Chandana leaves the shopping mall and waits for Bhavya near the car. Bhavya arrives near the car, and she gets frustrated. Bhavya sits in the car and starts driving; Chandana sits silent and thinks. They reach the bookstore. Chandana goes inside the bookstore and asks for the books. But she doesn’t purchase any books and leaves the bookstore. Bhavya gets more frustrated and says, “Chandana, what happened? You know that you need things, but why are you not choosing those things? Answer me, Chandana; if you remain silent, how can I know what you need?”
Chandana doesn’t answer, and she sits in the car. Bhavya starts driving the car and reaches their homes. Chandana goes to her bedroom, and she starts to regret herself. She gets confused and thinks. Meanwhile, Bhavya sits on the chair and gets frustrated. Suddenly, Bhavya gets an idea and starts to attempt the call for someone. She is busy calling someone.
Suddenly, Chandana with a regretful facial expression, throws the pillow down from the bed and starts crying, saying, “Oh God! What happened to me? I don’t even know what I’m doing. God, I’m not feeling comfortable here. I’m missing the love of my father who always cares for me and knows what I need; his selection is the best. Even though I never judge my father’s selection as wrong because his selection is always perfect. He is a gentleman.”
Chandana feels very regretful. Unfortunately, she gets a call; she identifies the ringtone and says, “Dad.” She cleans her eyes answers the call and says, “Hello Dad, how are you?” Chandana’s father replies, “Hello dear, pretty well. What’s going on?” Chandana smiles and says, “Everything is going well, Dad.”
Chandana’s father says, “Dear, I know what happened. But one thing, dear, don’t get afraid of anything. Just believe in yourself. Face the challenges with a smile, don’t take a back step for facing the challenges. It’s your life; you need to decide what you need. Remember one thing, we won’t be available every time. Sometimes we will stay away from you. Then you need to face a challenge bravely. So, choose the right things that you need, which make you feel happy and comfortable. Take the risk and try to solve it easily; also, never blindly depend on anyone and never trust anyone.”
Chandana says, “Okay, Dad. I understood.” Chandana’s father says, “Okay. Now take the time but take less time and decide what you need to do. Bye.” Chandana’s father terminates the call. Chandana starts thinking. Bhavya is busy doing her office work. Chandana listens to the music and sleeps at the end. The day ends with new lessons bringing happiness in the future. Sometimes feeling alone makes a person think better and makes them stronger.
The day dawns; Chandana gets ready to go to the office. Bhavya is busy packing the lunch boxes and speaking on a call. Chandana comes down; Bhavya looks seriously toward Chandana. Chandana remains calm and leaves the house. Bhavya takes her bag and locks the door. They both arrive at the office and start doing their work. Despite this, Vinay is chit-chatting with his colleague and decides to meet Chandana. He goes near Chandana, sits beside her, and tries to speak with her. However, Chandana doesn’t speak with him.
Vinay gets angry, even though he controls his anger, and says, “Chandana, just try to listen to me, to what I want to say.” Chandana, with a furious facial expression, looks towards Vinay and says, “What do you want to say?”
Vinay answers, “Chandana, I’m your friend. Why are you behaving like a stranger? I know that you need to purchase things, but you are not choosing them. If you don’t mind, may I come with you? So that we can select them.”
Chandana gets angry and stands up, saying, “What, do I look like a fool or someone who always depends on others? Do you think I am a courage less girl?”
Vinay tries to explain by saying, “I didn’t say all those things, Chandana. Just try to understand what I want to say. Please don’t take it negatively.”
Chandana, with anger, says, “Vinay, you know that I prefer my father’s choice. So, I don’t want to rely on my own choices. But now the situation is different. So, I need to choose what I want. I will choose those, and I don’t want your support. I will purchase the things that are required for me. I will take the risk and solve it. Bye.”
Chandana leaves the office, goes to her room, and starts thinking. Later on, Bhavya learns what happened. Chandana, alone, goes to the shopping mall, selects a saree and clothes, and visits the store to purchase notebooks along with textbooks. Finally, she reaches her room. Bhavya is waiting for Chandana, and when Chandana arrives with the things she has purchased, Bhavya is shocked by seeing those items. Chandana shows the things she has bought and Bhavya wonders.
Always bear in mind: never lose your confidence, and never underestimate the strength of a dad’s little princess, who consistently values her father’s choices, even when it comes to buying a single pen. A dad’s little princess understands the essence of love and how to express it.
