A man has been arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly murdering his live-in partner and concealing her body inside a cupboard (almirah) at a house in Dwarka, officials reported.
The accused, identified as Vipal Tailor, was captured in Rajasthan and is currently being brought back to Delhi, according to the authorities.The incident came to light on April 4, a day after the victim’s father contacted the police because he hadn’t been able to reach his 26-year-old daughter for a few days.
“We arrested Vipal Tailor from Rajasthan on Monday and a team is bringing him back to Delhi,” stated a senior police officer.On the night of April 3, the woman’s father called the police (PCR) around 10:40 pm, expressing his concern that his daughter might have been harmed. Following this, a team from Dabri police station hurried to the house located in Dwarka’s Rajapuri area.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers discovered the woman’s body hidden inside a cupboard. The victim’s father suspected that she was killed by her live-in partner, as reported by the police.
