On Wednesday, Taiwan was hit by the most powerful earthquake in nearly 3 decades which took the lives of nine individuals and the number of the wounded ranged above 900 as reported by the officials.

As per reports by the central news agency, the earthquake was the strongest after the 1999 one that recorded a 7.6 magnitude and took the lives of 2400 individuals as well as ruined and demolished 50,000 buildings.

The weather experts in Taiwan classified this earthquake as “Upper 6”, better known as the second-highest level of strength in the range of 1-7.
