In Iowa in United States of America, a 33-Year Old teacher confessed to sexually abusing students children as young as 13-Years of age. The accused has been identified as Cassidy Kraus, an employee at IKM Manning.
She pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, harmful acts with children, proclamation and exhibition of obscene materials to minors. According to officials, this sexual interaction began in 2022 and 2023. It involved three minor males of 13 and 14 Years of Age.
Once the information of her malicious act was revealed, she chose to quit her job. Her husband, Zachary divorced her immediately after. The offender shared explicit images with the students via Snapchat. She has also been accused of being involved in sexual activity.
Kraus has been sentenced to 33 Years in Prison, which despite long seems extremely less for such disgusting acts. The sentence has been held until March 11. This is not just one such case. A female teacher from the United States, an employee in Arkansas pleaded guilty to having sexual intercourse with her student about 30 times. She has been identified as Heather Hare.
A 17-Year Old reported the case in April 2023. Court hearings revealed “Hare began one-on-one counselling sessions with the minor victim, eventually giving him her personal phone number and primarily communicating with him through Instagram and Snapchat. At one point, Ms. Hare told J.R. that she had a dream of them having sex,”.
Such cases make a person wonder if the offenders of such crimes are sane. What makes someone put themselves out there and manipulate or force themselves onto youngsters. A teacher is a person one chooses to rely upon as a second parent. No one expects a teacher to make them feel unsafe and uncomfortable.
