Despite being receiving several rejections from india over renaming places in Arunachal Pradesh, the china has been continued to do show. The chinses minister of civil affairs has now released the fourth list of standardize geographical name in Zang nan.

The china has rename over 30 places inside Arunachal Pradesh, which Beijing claims as a part of south-tibet. Gobal times reported on Sunday .

Reacting to the move of china, on Monday, minister of external affairs S Jaishankar slammed over china and stated that such attempts to assign invented names can not change the fact. Additionally said that country will not gain anything by changing names.

Furthermore, he added “if I change the name of your home will it become mine? Arunachal Pradesh was an Indian states is an Indian state and will be an Indian state”, said S Jaishankar.

This is for the fourth time china has released a list of standardized geographical names in Arunachal Pradesh. Earlier, the list of such names was first released in 2017, second list was released in 2021,third list was released on 2023 and now this is for the forth time.

Meanwhile, the India has consistently dismissed these attempt made by china, saying that Arunachal Pradesh is a integral and inalienable part of India.

The issue of territorial claim over Arunachal Pradesh by china highlighted again after the china held a diplomatic protect against indian  prime minister Narendra Modi’s visited to the state for inauguration of the sela tunnel.
