A shocking incident took place at Delhi on 28th February, were a minor girl was raped by her social media friend whom she meet online in southwest Delhi and was found unconscious near West Delhi metro station.
According to DCP( southwest) the girl had gone to a coaching center to attend her classes, after which she planned to meet her online friend whom she had met through Instagram and had been talking to since October.
police said following the incident, “ the accused took her to his friends house when no one else was present in the house at that time, were he raped her after which the accused escaped from the spot, The girl somehow managed to climb an autorickshaw and reached the Dabri metro station to get home, but start bleeding and fell unconscious”.
“She was eventually admitted to a hospital by passers-by and her family members were also informed,” said the police.
Officer said that the girl is currently stable and her statement has been recorded. “The victim went to meet the accused by her will and he told her that they would meet at his friend’s house and hang out,” said another officer.
According to police, the FIR has been registered against the minor accused and his friend and sent to custody.
