At Ranchi’s Ulgulan Nyay Rally, Sunita Kejriwal stated that the BJP government is trying to “kill” Arvind Kejriwal by denying him insulin in Tihar Jail. But according to the administration report, Arvind Kejriwal refused to take insulin months before his arrest.
On April 21, jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, accused the BJP-led Centre government of conspiring to “kill” her husband by denying insulin to him at Tihar. She claimed that the I.N.D.I.A. bloc will fight against the “dictatorship” of the BJP. She addressed this statement while she was attending the joint opposition’s Ulgulan Nyay Rally in Ranchi. She also stated that Kejriwal has “no desire for power” and only “wants to serve the nation.”.
She stated about his husband, who is also the Chief Minister of Delhi, that Arvind Kejriwal has no desire for power. He just wants to serve the nation. He wants to make the country No. 1… Many people say that this is difficult. ‘Jail ke taale tutenge, Arvind Kejriwal, Hemant Soren chhutenge…’… Politics is a very dirty thing. There is a camera in his food. Every morsel is being monitored. He is a sugar patient, and he has been taking 50 units of insulin every day for the last 12 years. But he is not being given insulin in jail. They want to kill Delhi’s CM. They cannot understand Arvind Kejriwal’s thoughts. He is very brave. He is a lion… He is worried about ‘Bharat Mata’ even in jail.
She asserted that no charges could prove him guilty. She stated that the AAP will fight against dictatorship and win. The gates of jail will break, and Arvind Kejriwal and Hemant Soren will come out. Following his arrest on March 21, after the Delhi Court ordered him to stay under judicial custody, Kejriwal is now in Tihar Jail for his involvement in a money laundering case that is connected to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy. Until April 1, he was in ED custody.
On January 31st, the ED also arrested Soren in a money laundering case linked to a land fraud. According to a submitted report by Tihar Jail, Delhi LG VK Saxena stated that he is currently on a basic anti-diabetes oral medicine, and Kejriwal had stopped taking insulin months before his arrest. The RML Hospital in the national capital also confirmed that Kejriwal was “neither advised any insulin nor any requirement of insulin was indicated.” The Tihar jail report said that on April 10 and 15, a medicine specialist advised oral anti-diabetic drugs while CM’s health was being reviewed.
