PM Narendra Modi was in Bengal to visit a rally where the numbers of women joining were exceptional. Later, PM Modi questioned the TMC leader’s silence on the Sandeshkhali case.
PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Bengal. During this, he is scheduled to attend a public rally in Arambagh and Krishnanagar. Both are electorate areas of two women MPs of the TMC named Aparupa Poddar and Mahua Moitra, respectively. But it is exceptional to see that the number of women candidates joined the BJP’s rally in a rival ground. Witnessing the significant participation of women, the PM raised the question of why the TMC party leaders and CM Mamata Banerjee were passive to Sandeshkhali’s depravity.
On Friday in Arambagh, PM Modi accused the Trinamool Congress Government, where the TMC leader and their supporters were blamed for sexually abusing the women of Sandeshkhali, attacking Enforcement Directorate officials, and annexing lands. PM Modi asked why the India bloc is silent on this issue. Modi also added that he is surprised why the members of the INDIA alliance closed their eyes over Sandeshkhali’s case like Gandhiji’s three monkeys. Why did they not take any initiative on such a big issue? PM Modi also disapproved of the comment of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in a TV show where he was asked about the Sandeshkhali case. He answered that things often happen in West Bengal when the Left and Congress leaders target the Trinamool Congress.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated the people of the whole country are watching the situation in Bengal. All over the Indian people are sad and angry at TMC, who hit the drum of ‘ Ma, Mati, Manush’ which means respecting the women’s community, land, and people of Bengal. TMC should be ashamed of themselves for creating such a situation in Bengal. He also added that Raja Ram Mohan Roy’s soul must be crying to see such the condition of Bengal women, who did so much for the women’s community.
Mentioning the name of Sandeshkhali’s prime suspect, Seikh Shah Jahan, who has been a deserter for two months, said there must be support behind him who is trying to protect him and asked the public: would they ever forgive TMC? Won’t they never take revenge for what he did to the Bengal women and children? Later, he declared the phrase “Har chot ka jawab vote se dena hoga.“.
