Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee commented on PM Modi’s arrival in West Bengal. She says some people will keep visiting Bengal when the Lok Sabha election is forthcoming.
The BJP’s target is to grab 35 seats from all 42 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal. In that purpose, BJP leader Samik Bhattachariya stated that during the speech in Bengal, PM Narendra Modi will only focus on a corruption-free society and discuss the development of industrial revival in West Bengal. Recently, days before the 10th February, Amit Shah went to Bengal and stated that the Citizen Amendment Act would be administered before the Lok Sabha election.
In 2019, CAA passed for those who entered India from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh before 2015, but Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee opposed CAA, saying it was unconstitutional in a secular country. The BJP is focusing on the community problem in Bengal, where a SC population has migrated from Bengal.
Today PM Modi will have a gathering in Arambagh, where BJP’s Madhusudan Bag is an assembly member, and tomorrow, Saturday, PM will have another meeting in Krishnanagar, where TMC leader Mukul Roy won the BJP’s ticket in 2021.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee targeted the BJP without naming any political leader and stated that some people keep visiting Bengal when the Lok Sabha election is forthcoming. She added that if the BJP wins this Lok Sabha election, then the cocking gas prize will touch the sky, and the common people won’t be able to afford that.
