As per the police report, the car owner intended to sell it and informed his friends to find a buyer. It is primarily suspected that a person was asked to bring the car who was known to one of the owner’s friends.
According to a police report, on the evening of April 13, accusing the owner of owing money, the accused set fire to the vehicle using petrol along with his friend when the car was brought to Mamidipalli Road on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The police also informed us that, on the basis of the owner’s complaint, for mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to cause damage to his car, the accused is charged under Section 435 IPC, and the upcoming details will be known after the investigation.
