A 27-year-old man pretended to be a girl and trapped her in a game of truth or dare, where he manipulated the girl to share her private photo
According to the Delhi police, a 27-year-old man from Uttarakhand was blackmailing a minor school girl. The accused was Subhan Ali, who displayed himself as a girl on social media and befriended her. Later, he manipulated her in the game Truth or Dare, where he asked the minor to share her private pictures. After denying it for a while, she accepted and shared her pictures. Later, he started blackmailing her by telling her that he would post her pictures publicly.
The incident got attention when the minor’s mother saw her private photos on her phone and asked her daughter. Later on February 20, the victim’s father lodged an FIR alleging that his daughter was getting blackmail from an online friend. The schoolgirl used the phone for online classes at school.
During the police investigation, it was found that the accused person is a 27-year-old man from Bajpur in Udham Singh Nagar in the hill state. Police found the linked ID and phone number of the fake account were active. After the police raided Udham Singh Nagar and caught the man, he confessed his involvement. The Delhi Police added A smart phone was recovered from him, which he used to carry out the crime.
