In an argument about “offering sacrifice” for their good will in Delhi’s Dwarka, a man attacked his mother and brother after being bothered regarding this matter.
According to an official report, a man was accused of trying to kill his mother and brother over an argument about their good will in Delhi’s Dwarka. Police had recovered the murder weapon from the accused in this incident. The accused has been identified as Ravi. The police talked about the incident and stated that they got some information about the physical state of the victims, Abhishek, who was the brother of the accused, and their mother. On Thursday, near JP Kalan police station, RTR Hospital stated that they had several injuries to their bodies.
In a media conference, a senior police officer stated that information from RTR hospital was received at JP Kalan police station on Thursday that Abhishek and his mother, Nirmala, were both admitted with lacerated wounds on the abdomen and face. The officer also stated that, according to the statement of Pooja, who happened to be their sister, the accused, Ravi, attacked them with a knife. Under Section 370, a FIR has been lodged against Ravi, and the police have seized the weapon.
An officer stated that, following a written statement, an FIR under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC was registered against him. The team also seized the weapon of the offence. In a media interview, police also informedthe public that, following an investigation, it came out that Ravi had an issue with his family over who would offer the “sacrifice” to the goddess, which led to the argument in which the incident took place. The police also confirmed that further investigation is under way.
