Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister, gave a keen contrast over the central government against implementing CAA and called this a tactic to win the election.
Today, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a keen protest against the BJP-led central government’s rules of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Kejriwal held the press conference right after the BJP-led Central Government announced CAA 2019 where it was stated that Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, and Christians from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh will be able to get Indian citizenship.
In a press conference, Kejriwal stated, What is this CAA? The BJP government at the centre says that if minorities from three countries—Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan—want to get Indian citizenship, they will be granted the same. It means that a large number of minorities will be brought to our country.
He also added, They will be given jobs, and houses will be built for them. The BJP can’t provide jobs to our children, but they want to give jobs to children from Pakistan. Arvind Kejriwal, as a national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, added: Several Indian people are homeless, but the BJP wants to settle people from Pakistan here. The BJP wants to give India’s job opportunities to Pakistani children. The BJP wants to settle Pakistanis in the Indian people’s rightful houses. The money of the Government of India should be used to develop Indian families, but the country will be used for the settlement of Pakistanis.
He questioned the central government, saying that once India opens its doors, a lot of people will come to India from these countries. Who will provide employment to these refugees? Why is this being done? Some people say it’s just a part of vote-bank politics.
