The meteorological department in Kashmir predicts widespread moderate rain or snow till March 3rd, with the peak activity expected from March 1st night to March 2nd night. Heavy to very heavy snowfall is likely in higher reaches of north, central, and south Kashmir, impacting transportation and daily life.

Northeast India’s Weather Forecast:
In North East India, Arunachal Pradesh anticipates scattered light to moderate rainfall and snowfall over the next six days, with heavy rainfall and snowfall expected on March 4th. Similarly, Sikkim is likely to experience heavy rainfall on March 3rd.

For North East India, isolated light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from March 3rd to 6th.
