Express logistics company DTDC , has entered the Malaysian market through its subsidiary, DTDC Global Express PTE Ltd, with an opening of an office in Kuala Lumpur , as per the statement by company on Wednesday.
DTDC said that this inaugration will increase the company’s global footprint, including in Southeast Asia anr will offer enhanced trans-shipment solutions to its customer base in Southeast Asia as well as the Australian peninsula.
As per the company statement , The new sales office will not only provide export and import services to and from India, Singapore, and Australia, along with handling local deliveries in Malaysia but also ensures convenient and cost-competitive shipping options for retail and MSME customers through the DTDC worldwide solution.

Malaysia has good track record of a healthy import and export relationship with India and has a widespread Indian dissemination , according to the company.
As per recent reports, the bilateral trade between both the nations , currently stands at USD 20 billion, will grow to USD 25 billion by 2026, and “our expansion in Malaysia aims to capitalize this opportunity,” Subhashish Chakraborty, Founder and CMD of DTDC Express Ltd said.
“The expansion in Malaysia will add to our capabilities in the region and provide seamless shipping solutions to/from our global network, specifically countries like India, Australia, UAE, and the UK,” he said .Malaysia exhibits a strong growth potential with its economy standing at USD 1.2 trillion, fuelled by the growth in local manufacturing, he added.
Notably , firm is already present in Singapore and Australia and it recently shook hands with Aramex last year to enhance its capabilities in cross-border logistics as a part of its global expansion plan.
Currently , the company has over 16,000 physical customer access points and has a global reach of 220+ destinations , as per the data record.
