Delhi high court on Monday send to Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader k Kavita to judicial court till 23 April in connection with Delhi excise policy scam. She was produce before court by CBI after expiry of her three days police custody, reported by officials.
Daughter of Telangana former chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was arrested by Enforcement Directorate on March 15, following her arrest she was send to CBI’s custody till march 23. she was then arrested by CBI on April 11 for three-days custody. Earlier on April 9 Delhi high court reverse it order on interim bail of BRS leader.
During her interrogation in recent three-days custody, probe agency questioned BRS leader K Kavita about her WhatsApp chats and documents recovered from her co-accused Buchi babu’s phone related to a land deal, following which amount of RS 100 crore was paid to Aam Aadmi party for favor in Delhi excise policy, said ED.
Before three days arrest, several multiples summons were send by CBI, however at least two of the summons skipped by Kavita.
According to ED K Kavita had the connection with so-called “south group” party that paid kick-back worth RS 100 crore to AAP leader in exchange of nine retail zones under now-scrapped policy. The probe agency has also revealed the names of other people who are involved in groups-Yuvajana Sramika Rythu congress party, MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, his son Raghav Magunta, Aurobindo group promoter Sarrath Reddy, and Delhi based Business man Sameer Mehendru.
