“Balancing the scales of knowledge and experience, Chandana’s unexpected encounter with Saha leads to a journey of self-discovery, sacrifice, and the intertwining of professional and personal realms.“
The day dawns with fresh expectations and hopes, adorned by a smiling face. We diligently follow our plans, striving for success. Sometimes, tasks are completed on time, while at other times, they take a bit longer, but each endeavor offers new insights and valuable experiences.
Allow me to share a captivating story illustrating the pivotal roles of knowledge and experience in our lives.
In harmony with the rising sun, a new day begins with an unexpected note—a phone’s ring. The lady, still in the embrace of sleep, wakes to the glow of her mobile, her facial expression taut with the anticipation of the conversation ahead. Without hesitation, Chandana answers the call, and the voice on the other end delivers a directive wrapped in urgency. “Chandana, come to the office within 1 hour. Consequences await if you delay,” warns the caller, setting the stage for a high-stakes morning.
The call concludes, leaving Chandana in a state of shock. However, her resolute nature shines as she completes her work punctually. Upon arriving at the office, she heads straight to her cabin, meticulously gathering the necessary files before seeking her boss. The boss, Maruthi, evaluates the files stoically. Acknowledging Chandana’s swift response, he remarks, “Oh, nice, you came very fast.” Inquisitive, Chandana seeks clarification, asking, “Sir, can I know what happened?”
Maruthi responds, “You don’t know what’s happening in the office. I have already informed you that we need a knowledgeable person who can handle our next project. I don’t want to give this opportunity to our workers; I just wanted to hand it over to someone well-versed in the field.” Chandana responds, “Yes, sir. I will certainly find a person suitable for our project. But I just need some time.”
Maruthi replies, “I will give only 2 days. If you do not find the person, you will need to resign from your job.” Chandana acknowledges, “Okay sir.” Chandana, with a confused expression, goes to her cabin and starts thinking. Meanwhile, she receives a call but doesn’t answer it. Finally, she takes her bag and leaves the office. She starts walking to the coffee shop, where she finds many people enjoying their lives and chit-chatting with their friends.
She orders a cup of coffee, and the server serves it. Holding the cup of coffee delicately in her hands, she gazes across the coffee shop towards Saha, who sits directly opposite her. Saha, wearing a serious expression, meets Chandana’s eyes and says, “Hello, madam, when will you return my amount?” Chandana, taken aback, responds, “Who are you?”
Saha, maintaining his seriousness, replies, “Madam, this morning you boarded my auto, but you didn’t give the amount. I’ve been waiting for payment for 2 hours.”
Chandana remembers and says, “Oh sorry. I was in a hurry, and I completely forgot.” Meanwhile, Saha receives a phone call and answers, “Brother, I’m not interested in doing the job. I had wasted a lot of time searching for jobs, but now I don’t waste my time previously searching for jobs, but now I don’t spend my time on that. Currently, I’m taking care of my father’s grocery shop. So, please don’t call me again to discuss anything related to jobs.”
Saha terminates the call. Chandana listens to Saha’s words and starts thinking. Saha, looking at Chandana, says, “Madam, I need to leave. Do the payment.” Chandana completes the payment and Saha leaves the shop. Suddenly, Chandana gets an idea and starts following Saha. She approaches the auto and says, “Brother, follow that auto.”
She follows Saha’s auto and eventually, Saha stops near a tea shop. Chandana, seeing Saha, says to the auto driver, “Brother wait for some time. I will be back.” Chandana wears a mask and enters the shop, discretely observing Saha. Meanwhile, Saha hands over the auto keys and money to his friend, saying, “Dear, thanks for giving me a chance. This is the amount that I have earned today.”
After saying that, Saha leaves the area, goes to his bike, and starts riding. Chandana, intrigued by Saha’s words, senses something mysterious and decides to follow him once again.
At 5 pm, Saha arrives at the Grocery Shop and goes inside. Chandana, sitting in the auto, takes a sip of water. The auto driver says, “Mam, do you know who he is? From 10 am till 5 pm, you’ve been following him. We went to the tea shop, the playground, and his house, and observed his friends. Finally, I want to convey one thing. By watching him all day, I understood that he is an intelligent fellow who communicates with people very easily, and he works very smartly.”
Chandana is shocked and says, “Brother, wait for 5 minutes. I will be back.” Chandana goes to the Grocery Shop and starts collecting the items she needs. Meanwhile, Saha organizes the groceries and attends to customers managing the store efficiently. He conducts his business with a polite and friendly demeanor. A 6-year-old girl arrives and asks for something. Saha, noticing her, goes over, engages in conversation, and provides her with the items she needs.
Saha also offers a chocolate, but the girl rejects it and leaves the shop. Saha, with a smile, continues with his work. Chandana observes him and eventually approaches him to make the payment. Saha recognizes Chandana but doesn’t say anything. He packs Chandana’s items and says, “Madam, you need to pay 2,000 Rupees.”
Chandana completes the payment, and Saha says, “Thank you, ma’am.” Chandana leaves the shop. In his inner thoughts, Saha reflects, “She boarded the auto in the morning, and now she’s here. It’s quite far from her house. Okay, let it go.” He continues with his work. Meanwhile, Chandana starts thinking in her room. In her inner thoughts, she reflects, “Such an interesting character, I’ve never encountered someone like him. I think I need to get in touch with this guy. But before that, I need to know more about his qualifications.”
After saying that, she leaves the place. Eventually, she arrives at Saha’s grocery shop and waits for him. However, Saha pays no attention to her and starts walking away. Undeterred, Chandana follows him. She approaches a person, engages in conversation, and gathers some information about him. Finally, She knows Saha’s qualifications. She thinks, “It’s interesting. I need to know more about him.”
She leaves from there. After following him for 1 week, she meets her boss and discusses something about the project. After 2 weeks, Chandana gets a call from her father and feels excited. She goes to the address mentioned by her father. Finally, she arrives at the address and is shocked by seeing Saha. Saha is also surprised. Chandana’s father enters and says, “Dear Saha, she is my daughter. Chandana, he is my friend’s son.” Saha remains silent. Chandana enters the home and speaks with her father, saying, “Father, I have resigned from my job and am looking for a new one.”
Her father is shocked and remains silent. Chandana says, “Dad, Experience, and knowledge may seem similar, but they have significant differences. As an experienced person, I can get a job anywhere, but I need to gain more knowledge. So, give me some time to understand how experience and knowledge play a major role in our lives.
Chandana’s father smiles and says, “Dear, I know what happened. But I thank you. I understand why you resigned from your job. The reason is Saha, am I right?” Chandana is shocked. Saha tells her, “Chandana, your sacrifice made my life happy, and it was an unexpected journey. I never thought that I would get a job in a software company. Thank you.”
Chandana smiles and says, “It’s not a sacrifice. I know you’re an expert and knowledgeable person; your work has made a more impressive impact on our team. All the best for your future.” Chandana leaves from there and enters the bedroom, reflecting on the main reason for her resignation.
When she was speaking with her boss, she said, “Sir, both experience and knowledge play a crucial role, but sometimes certain situations compel us to focus on gaining knowledge, and at other times, we need to rely on experience. After gaining knowledge, we will gain experience in a particular field. I’m confident that Saha will be the best fit for our next project. However, I am not interested in continuing to work. Therefore, I will resign from my job. Thank you, sir.”
Chandana smiles, washes her face, and enjoys time with her family. Meanwhile, Saha sitting on the chair looks at Chandana, and in his inner thoughts, he says, “Chandana, you are truly a kind-hearted person. You have given me such a beautiful life that I never imagined. I’m sure you will get to know the shocking news by the end of the day.”
Chandana’s father and Saha’s father engage in a serious discussion. Chandana enjoys her time with the children. As the day ends, Chandana needs to leave. She goes near her father and says, “Dad, I need to leave.” Chandana’s father says, “Okay, daughter, you can leave.” She then goes to the bedroom.
Saha is shocked. Chandana’s father says, “Saha, drop her off at home.” Saha replies, “Okay, Uncle.” Saha’s father asks, “Saha, do you want to say anything else?” Suddenly, Chandana enters and says, “Dad, I need to leave, it’s important. I’m going, bye bye.” She leaves quickly. Saha is shocked and curiously says, “Uncle, I need to say something to her.”
Chandana’s father smiles and says, “Go quickly and tell her. Otherwise, you will never have an opportunity like this.” Saha starts running, and Chandana is waiting for an auto. As both friends start chit-chatting, an auto arrives near Chandana. Without seeing the auto driver, she says, “Brother, can you drop me at XXX address?”
The auto driver declares, “Madam, I have given my heart to you. Separately, you need to ask me to drop.” Chandana, shocked, glances at him, and exclaims, “Saha.” Saha, curious, questions, “Yes. Why did you follow me for more than 1 week? Can I know the reason?” Chandana explains, “To check whether you are eligible for our next project or not. If you are eligible, then how will you manage the team with your knowledge and experience.”
Saha’s comforting words, “Don’t bother about it. You can monitor me every day if you share your life with me,” bring joy to Chandana. She happily agrees, saying, “Okay, let’s go for a ride.”
Their shared adventure becomes a metaphor for the meeting of experienced and knowledgeable souls. Destiny and fate guide them, emphasizing the importance of resilience.
