Fast-moving consumer goods(FMCG) companies like Adani Wilmar,Dabur India & Coca-cola are ensuring sufficient stocks in Ayodhya town as temple City is expected to attract more crowd in this auspicious Occasion.
According to Survey by Kirana Club which is India’s largest kirana community,more than 70% of kirana stores are full filling their places with puja samagri materials like cotton wicks, ghee, oil, diya, camphor, rice, wheat and honey ahead of January 22.
The third most stocked items are Namkeen and chips,as per the report.Additionally, cold drinks, water, and personal care products like hair oil and soaps packed mithai and chocolates are being stocked with retailers anticipating increased sales during the auspicious occasion.

Being the giant player in India’s FMCG sector, Adani Wilmar is engaging in activities, including a seven-day Jalebi Sampling Spree with over 25,000 Fortune-logo-shaped jalebis, a 15-day campaign introducing a unique Fortune Special Pakoda Platter, and a grand-scale, one-day Fortune Mega-Bhog event for over 5,000 people under the Fortune brand name,as per company’s press release.
Dabur India, a domestic FMCG company,is expanding its distribution network by actively engaging in on-ground marketing initiatives with the help of dhabas and eateries along highways leading to Ayodhya, where they will be branding their key products like Hajmola and Real, along with extensive sampling of its product range.
Coca-Cola is also likely to increase vending machine availability in the area and collaborating with retailers to stock up on low-unit packs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the temple next week, which is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of daily visitors by the year-end.Around 3,00,000 to 7,00,000 people are expected in Ram Temple in Ayodhya in the first week post inauguration and the number of visitors to the town are expected to remain high for the time period.
