After getting continuous summon from Enforcement Director Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s present Chief Minister got Arrested in Liquor Policy Case.
Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind kejriwal who use to led Aam Aadmi Party, is currently in the custody of Enforcement Director. He is accused that he has an involvement in Liquor Policy Case. Thousand of his followers who supports Aam Aadmi Party protesting to this move from the central and accusing the opposition Leaders. It is a definite unusual incident that a serving Chief Minister got arrested by Enforcement Director…just right before some days of Lok Sabha election. Aam Aadmi Party went to Supreme court for Arvind Kejriwal. The hearing is today, and the party’s legal experts had said he will continue his duties from jail.
He got arrested around 9 p.m and he was taken to the Delhi ED office 2 hours later after searching and questioning session. Yesterday, after a medical check-up in the RML hospital, he was in ED custody that night. After the Kejriwal arrest Delhi Minister Atishi stated that – Mr Kejriwal’s arrest is a conspiracy by the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She also stated that – Mr Kejriwal is not just a man, he is an idea. If you think arresting one Kejriwal can finish off the idea, you are wrong. Mr Kejriwal is, was and will remain the Delhi chief minister. They have said from the beginning that he will run the government from jail if need be. He has not been convicted… No law stops him from doing so.
