After the arrest of the Delhi’s first sitting CM and leader of Aam Aadmi party Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday , erupt a protest by the several opposition and Aam Aadmi party supporters took to the streets against ED and BJP government .
he was accused in the connection with a money laundering case linked with Delhi government excise policy . After which the arrest was made by the ED . Thousands of his supporters and workers of Aam Aadmi Party are protesting against this move of central government just weeks ahead of Lok Sabha election 2024.
Aam Aadmi Party on Friday announced the several programs and said that the INDIA bloc parties were stand united with it to safe guard constitution and democracy .
Minister of Delhi and senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party Gopal Rai reveled four-day protest plan which will started from Saturday at shaheed park, Punjan CM Bhagwat Mann along with state MLA’s will also hold the protest on 23 march .
INDIA bloc will also join the protest, furthermore he added. On march 24 , the rai said effigies of pm modi will be burn across the country and on march 25, AAP party will not be celebrating Holi and “will go door to door and meet people , and tell them about BJP’S action .
On march 26, the party will “Gherao” at PM Modi residence .
While speaking about the arrest of CM Kejriwal, Gopal Rai criticize the BJP move to arrest Kejriwal by fradulation. He further said the arrest of cm after the implementation of model code of conduct is against the code . the model code of conduct came in effect on march 16, with the announcement of Lok Sabha election schedule.
He further also claim that county is seeing his electoral bond corruption , if Kejriwal would have been outside the jail , he would have raised his voice against it .
The AAP is planning to convert the protest into mega protest by protesting in nation-wide following illegal arrest of CM Kejriwal , Rai said .
Member of Rajya Sabha and leader of Aam Aadmi Party Sandeep Pathak said the BJP is “Murdering democracy” by illegally arresting opposition leaders .
He also accused BJP for fake case and illegal arrest of Cm Kejriwal by stating that BJP and modi are trying to do everything to suppress opposition parties either by putting them in jail for fake allegations or by offering them to join there party .
Meanwhile Minister of Delhi Atishi raised her concern about the CM Kejriwal security in ED custody . she said CM Kejriwal has Z-pulse security, “now that CM Kejriwal has arrested who is responsible for his security”, said Atishi .
CM Kejriwal’s wife Sunita in her post on X accused BJP and Modi by saying that three-times CM had been arrested by PM modi . He (pm modi) is trying to crush everyone.
