Aam Admi party is set to “gherao” at PM modi residence today (march 26) following the arrest of Delhi CM Kejriwal .
the Delhi police has tightened the security and has imposed section 144 of the Criminal procedure code around pm Modi residence to maintain law and order and said that case will lodged in case of any protest .
Previously, minister of Delhi Gopal Rai has informed about the “gherao” movement to be held on 26 march at pm Modi residence in response to CM Kejriwal Arrest which was made by ED on march 21, in connection with liquor scam .
Meanwhile, According to Delhi traffic police the security measures have been increased in difference parts of national capital as protest may disrupts in different parts of new Delhi and central Delhi
The Delhi police has also implemented the multiple layers of security to ensure law and order . and section 144 has already imposed around the PM Narendra modi residence .
According to Delhi police, the advisory has been set for the public, request them to follow the rules and regulation as mentioned in the advisory .
the advisory states that no vehicles will be allowed to stop or park on Tughlak Road, Safdarjung Road, and Kemal Ataturk marg. Public entry in these area will be not allowed . And if any of the vehicles found parked on above road shall be towed away and strict legal action will be taken .
The Delhi traffic police has also arranged seven diversion routs for the smooth running of the vehicles which will redirect them through various point .
If needed , traffic will be diverted from Aurobindo Chowk, Tughlaq Road , Samrat Hotel roundabout, Gymkhana post office roundabout, teen murti Haifa roundabout , Niti Marg roundabout and Kautilya Marg roundabout it added.
The traffic police has also requested the commuters to avoid Kemal Ataturk Marg , Safdarjung road, Akbar road and teen murti Marg to prevent congestion and are advice to utilize public transport for save travel .
