According to the police, on Sunday in the Uttar Pradesh district’s Sultanpur area, a murder accused was out on bail and was directly shot dead by an unidentified attacker. As per the information from Superintendent of Police Somen Barma, an argument took place between some people at the Dariyapur tri-section in the Kotwali police station area here when one of them started firing in open air.
The SP, Somen Barma, stated that two men were injured in the incident and rushed to a hospital. One of the injured men, Vijay Narayan Singh (43), was declared dead, while the other, Ajay Sharma, was admitted to the hospital. The shot-dead person, Singh, was accused in a murder case lodged in September last year and was out on bail, which was granted by the Allahabad High Court. The SP informed me that the incident might have taken place because of a business deal.
Now the question appears: does this incident have any interconnection with the murder case in which Singh was accused? Otherwise, what on earth can cause such an incident when he was on bail? Why is the UP police not suspicious about this topic? Why did Singh get killed by gunshot when he was out of jail in Bail?
