A 35-year-old man got arrested and confessed his crime: he killed his sister-in-law and committed the crime because he was very drunk.
According to an official report, on Monday, a 35-year-old man was accused of killing his sister-in-law and got arrested. The incident took place in the area of Delhi’s Alipur on March 18. On Monday evening, he accused Puran Singh, who was involved in a fight with his wife Moni and chased after her with a knife, and by mistake, he stabbed the knife in the neck of his sister-in-law, Ritu. Ritu and Moi were two sisters who used to live with Puran Sing in his apartment.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer-north) Ravi Kumar Singh, on Friday evening, the accused, Puran Singh, noticed that Ritu’s husband Kharju’s leg touched his wife Moni’s leg. Then he started a fight with his wife, Mini, for this purpose and started to chase her with a knife. After that, Ritu tried to stop her sister’s husband, but in that chaos, Puran Singh ended up killing Ritu instead of his wife, Moni.
Puran ran away from the spot, but later he was arrested by the police team. Ravi Kumar Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, stated that now he is under investigation, but when he was being caught by the police team, he was under the influence of alcohol. Now the question is, where was Kharju, Ritu’s husband, when all this chaos was happening? Why didn’t he try to stop all this? According to the media investigation, more information still has to come out.
