Allegedly, some people fired at a private hospital’s building in Sohna on January 24. A FIR has been filed and suspects have been taken into jurisdiction. At around 2:30Am the Bharat Hospital and Trauma Centre in Sohna was ‘under-siege’. The Police stated that around three rounds were fired at the building which caused the glass panes to shatter.
The workers were awoken by the noise. An employee at the hospital, Shravan Saini reported the incident to the Police. “When they fired bullets, I immediately went to the doctor in charge of the hospital. We were all scared. He asked me to call 112. Soon after, four police vehicles reached the hospital with a forensics team,” said Shravan Saini. More information unraveled when the operator of the hospital, Bharat Saini revealed that he took a tender for the GD Goenka College Parking, Sohna.
In December 2023, a man approached him and asked him for half of the parking’s share. The man threatened to kill the operator if he refused to do so. On filing the FIR, the Police discovered that the man who threatened the operator was involved in the firing. The offenders have been identified as Mukesh and Praveen. They are residents of Saap Ki Nangli in Sohna. Mukesh and Praveen have been booked under relevant sections of IPC and Arms Act. Police Investigation is ongoing, others involved with the crime will be arrested soon.
