A 16 year old stabbed a young boy at Janta Mazdoor Colony in the Welcome Police Station area of Delhi’s North – East district , police said on Wednesday.
DCP Joy Tirkey, North-East told ANI “ We got the information about the youth getting stabbed and reached the spot immediately to start our investigation. The young boy was brutally stabbed multiple times and was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead”.
According to the police, the deceased appeared to have been dragged some distance and danced in front of the body after the incident that can be seen in a viral video.
DCP North-East told ANI, “ The accused is a 16 year old boy and stabbed the youth for robbery. He was trying to snatch victim’s money and his resistence lead to the tragic incident.” Further adding that the weapon used in the incident have been found.
The police have started their investigation and have been unable to identify about the victim yet.
“ A case have been registered and further investigations are underway.” Said DCP Joy Tirkey.
